An alternative to synthetic gels and shaving creams, our citrus Shaving Foam is made from gentle, saponifed oils and sweet orange essential oil and enhanced with moisturizing aloe vera to create a smooth lather. Natural alpha-hydroxy acids help brighten skin, shed the dullness, and deliver much needed therapeutic benefits.
Our toxin free Shaving Foam will not provide the same lather as synthetic brands, but it will provide plenty for a safe shave.
Save the environment and save money by purchasing a 16.5 fl oz refill bottle. Please note that the refill size does not come with a foamer pump. You must have a foamer type pump bottle to use the refill size.

Troubleshooting Tips for foaming pumps
- With regular refilling and normal use, a foamer bottle should last for about a year before it begins "sticking". To keep foamers from sticking, they must be used regularly so the soap does not dry on the mesh screen and clog the pump.
- The air chamber must also be kept free from liquid. If this happens, remove the pump from the bottle, turn it upside down and try to pump the liquid out of the chamber.
- Check that the small tube that leads to the pump is not pushed too far into the pump, pulling it out slightly. This allows for air to flow to create the foam. You will see a small ball that sits above your tube, make sure this ball has room to move.
- Flush your foaming pump (never soak or submerge your pump) with white vinegar. Once you have your pump cleared, it is recommended to flush your pump with a warm water and white vinegar solution with every refill.
- Don’t seal the bottle too tightly – This may affect performance, and you’ll start seeing the actual bottle creating suction. Loosen lid and continue using.
- The life of the pump can be extended by keeping the cap on when not using the bottle and keeping the uncapped bottle out of direct contact with water.
- When refilling the foamer bottle, leave 1 inch of headspace at the top so that the air chamber does not fill with product. If the air chamber does fill, remove the pump, turn the pump upside down and pump out the product.

How To Use

Wet area to be shaved with warm water. Dispense one pump into hand, rubs hands together to create lather and apply to moistened skin. Shave normally and rinse off.
To refill your foamer bottle: Carefully pour shaving foam refill into foamer bottle. Leave 1 inch of headspace in the foamer bottle so it does not overflow and the air chamber on the pump does not get flooded. Do not dilute.

I have been on a mission to replace all of my personal care products with EWG Verified products. I used the EWG Skin Deep database to search for shaving cream that is EWG Verified and came across Be Green Bath + Body Shaving Foam. I was skeptical as to how well it would work when I first started using it, because it is not as thick and creamy as the traditional shaving cream that I am used to. However, I have been really pleasantly surprised by how well this works. Even though the texture is thinner and less creamy, it still works just as well as traditional shaving cream! This product must have some nourishing ingredients that do the trick. I will continue to use this and be happy knowing that it is non-toxic!

Smells wonderful, seems very mild, has not seemed to cause any irritation. The downside is that the foam is very airy, which means having to apply quite a lot to a small area, shave, apply a lot to another area....

It’s a big change from big dawg shaving cream. I was so used to the typical name brand shaving cream that would go on and burn my face without me actually knowing it. This shaving cream goes on bubbly and it feels good when the bubbles pop on your face. I’ve had two smooth shaves of my face with no dryness or razor burn. Overall, I’d recommend changing over to a safe and effective shave foam like begreen!

After years of gradually transitioning to clean beautiy products, finding an alternate shaving cream option was one of the last items on my list. There didn't seem to be many options out there, but I trust EWG's certifications and this product was no exception! It works well, especially if you follow the instructions to shave in sections, and leaves my legs and underarms noticeably smoother with no irritations or clogged skin. Very impressed and excited to have found such a clean and effective product!

Did not work very well
We are sorry that you didn't care for our Shaving Foam. It does have much less foam than a conventional product and can be hard for some to get used to. We suggest shaving one part of the body at a time before the foam dissipates. So as not to go to waste, please know that you could use it as a body wash or even a hand soap.
