My package was scanned as delivered but it still hasn’t arrived. What now?

Here are a few steps we suggest you take. 

  • Confirm that your shipping address is correct in your confirmation email.
  • Give it a little more time. Sometimes a shipping courier scans something as delivered before it's actually physically delivered. In most cases, it can take 1-2 business days for your shipment to appear.
  • Check with neighbors, housemates, areas near your mailbox, and/or mailroom, in case your package was received elsewhere.
  • Check your USPS tracking link for a notice of an attempted delivery. This notice will have instructions on the next steps you should take.
  • Contact USPS and use your tracking number to start a claim with them.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Meta Pay, Venmo and Paypal.  The payment system that we use, Shopify Payments, does not accept VISA gift cards and other credit card gift cards.  Sorry for the inconvenience.


Can I buy Be Green Bath and Body® products in a store near me? Be Green Bath and Body® products are not sold in stores. Our products do not contain strong synthetic preservatives to ensure they can last for long periods in warehouses and on store shelves. They are made with non toxic ingredients, in small batches, so that they are fresh for the longest possible time.


Can we sell your products in our store or on our website?

Be Green Bath and Body® products are not available wholesale at this time.  Most must be made at or close to the time of purchase and used promptly. In addition, we keep our products affordable for our customers. Retail outlets usually need to double the price at which they buy in order to stay in business. We would have to substantially increase our prices to be in a position to offer such a discount.

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, you can order gift certificates on our website and have them emailed directly to the recipient. If you contact us, we can mail a paper certificate to the recipient. We do not charge a shipping fee for mailing gift certificates.

How do you redeem gift certificates?
Gift certificates can be redeemed by entering the unique code in the redemption code field during checkout.

Do you offer gift bags?
Yes, our customers love to give our products as gifts! They make great gifts for birthdays, holidays, teacher appreciation, co-workers and to welcome a new baby. If your order is a gift, please indicate this during checkout and fill out the comments/gift message field. Your gift will be sent in either an organza bag or a reusable organic cotton pouch. Please see our gift page for details. Be sure to fill in the shipment information with the recipients address.

Are Be Green Bath and Body® products certified organic?
Be Green Bath and Body® products are not certified organic. We do, however, use as many organic ingredients as possible and purchase many from a supplier less than 20 miles away. Some of the organic ingredients we use are: olive oil, sunflower oil, evening primrose oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, borage oil, castor oil,  rose hip oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil, lavender, oatmeal, calendula and chamomile. Most of the essential oils we use are also organic.

What kind of packaging do you use?
For some items we use PET plastic which is recyclable almost everywhere and stands up to essential oils without degrading. We use PCR plastic (post consumer recycled) for our products in 4 oz jars.  We have chosen plastic due to safety issues in the bathroom and shower, and because it is lighter, less breakable and also less expensive to ship. Our Day and Night Creams, Hand Cream, Serums, Argan Oil, Rosehip Regenerative Oil and Blemish Treatment are packaged in glass.  Our powders and Shea Butter Tin are packaged in aluminum.

Can you send me some samples?
We don't generally provide samples for the asking. However, many of our products are available in trial sizes ranging from .25 oz to 1 oz. These also are a great size for traveling. We offer two different deluxe trial sets. Facial samples includes our Day Face, Night Cream, Facial Cleanser and Toner for $21. Body samples includes Unscented Body Oil, Unscented Shower Gel and Unscented Body Lotion for $18.

When do your products go on sale? How can I get discounts or coupons?
We occasionally offer discounts. Please sign up for our occasional newsletter or like us on Facebook. This is where discount codes will be posted.

Do you ship to other countries?
Yes. We are happy to ship to Canada. Please see “ordering and shipping information” for shipping rates. Packages less than 4 lbs are generally shipped USPS International First Class Mail. Please allow for 2-3 weeks to receive your order. Custom taxes, import duty, valued-added tax (VAT), or any similar customs-related levy is the responsibility of our customers. Please allow extra time for your package to clear customs.  We will ship to other countries besides Canada.  Please send an email with your address and items you would like to order to  We will get back to you with an actual shipping charge and you can decide if you would like to proceed with an order.  Customs, duties and any taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

What is the shelf life of the products?
Because our products do not contain fillers or strong toxic preservatives, they should be used within 6-12 months after opening, depending on the product. Please consult the Instructions sheet included with your order for recommended “use by” dates. The label of each product includes a symbol that looks like an open jar.  The number printed in the jar is the number of months the product is good for after opening.  You can help extend product life by storing closed containers in cool, dry, and dark environment. Avoid getting water into a product's container when using in the shower or tub. Each of our products is made with high-quality concentrated ingredients that even the smallest amount can serve your needs.

Do you conduct animal testing?
No, we are certified cruelty free by PETA and have confirmed all our supplies also do not test on animals.

Do any of your products contain peanuts or other nuts?

Some of our products contain Shea Butter (Shea Butter Hand Cream, Shea Butter Tin, Baby Balm and Herbal Miracle Balm). We use separate equipment when making products with  shea butter but they are made in the same facility as our other products.

Are any of your products vegan?
Yes, lots of them are vegan. The ones that are not vegan contain beeswax. The products that are NOT vegan are: Body Lotion, Day Cream,  Night Cream, Calendula Cream, Herbal Miracle Balm, Baby & Sensitive Skin Balm, and Shea Butter Hand Cream and Lip Balms. Click here for our vegan collection.

Why do you not accept returns?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for products that are not defective or damaged. We ask you to please order trial sizes to see how your skin reacts before committing to a full sized product. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.  We are a small family-owned business and this allows us to continue to offer our products at an affordable rate.

Please email us with any questions before ordering.  This is especially important if you have sensitive skin.  If ordering the Deodorant for the first time, we recommend ordering the trial size to make sure your skin will not react to baking soda.
