- Argan oil that is pure and virgin organic has a fairly strong smell. We do not refine or deodorize our cold-pressed Argan oil. Pure Argan oil has a natural aroma that can smell soured or nutty depending on the time of the year it is pressed. This aroma is normal and preferred. Argan oil that has no smell is oftentimes not Argan oil at all or it has been highly heated, refined, and deodorized. This denatures the oil and decreases its vitamin content.

I began my search for EWG-certified facial products and landed here. I am so delighted with the Argon Oil. I never realized all the benefits of Argon oil for skin, and it's delightful to put on at night. I put it on early enough to soak in so it doesn't stain my bed linens. I will be a repeat user!
