The amount in the jar is so very generous, too - a little also goes a long way. Great deep cleanser

I use this 1-2 times a week and it does a fantastic job of deep cleansing and removing dry flaky skin without stripping and drying out my skin. Note: be very gentle as you apply it because it can be somewhat abrasive if you try to “scrub” your face.

Cleansing Grains

These are ok. I guess I’m not used to the consistency and having to mix the water in. It’s a bit messy. I’d definitely prefer a facial scrub that you can just pour out of bottle and use (without mixing). Hope this might be an option in the future.

We decided to formulate the powdered product so customers would not be paying for the waters and or oils and we wouldn't need to add preservatives but I understand what you are saying. Please know that you can also mix the grains with olive oil or yogurt or even milk if you prefer. I like to mix mine in a small stainless steel bowl and it does take some time to figure out how much liquid to add to get the consistency that you prefer.

Cleansing grains

Very very soothing on my sensitive face. Since my skin is normally a little on the dryer side I only use this 2 times a week on my face. I gently scrub it in and let it dry for a few minutes before rinsing off. After my skin is so so soft, smooth and glowing.

Amazing cleanser!

I love how these toxin-free cleansing grains leave my face glowing and feeling so soft and clean! I use this as a mask weekly then as a cleansing exfoliator every few days. It does a great job of deep-cleaning without being too drying.

does the job, but doesn't irritate

I have found it difficult to find an exfoliant that does not irritate my skin, as it's pretty sensitive. My skin always feels nice and smooth when I do the mask. It's a little tricky in the beginning to get it into a paste, so I might take one of the suggestions mentioned below and get a special dish to do this in, instead of trying to do it in my palm. Overall, great product!

We are adding organic coconut milk, organic green tea, organic papaya and organic maqui berry and reducing the amount of organic oat flour. We should have it ready for our website in about 2 months.

Cleansing Grains

I was a bit apprehensive to try this since I'm in my late 50s but I'm glad I did. My skin feels and looks really smooth after using it and feels wonderful. Honestly, I like the ease of using the Gentle Facial Cleanser since it's already mixed together but the cleansing grains add another level of pampering I've been missing for awhile. I think it's definitely worth using a few times a week. I have a pretty little Limoges dish I use to mix it up in to remind me of the finer things in life!

Amazing & gentle exfoliating cleanser

I love that there are so many ways to use this— a cleanser, a mask, an exfoliater. This product has been wonderful on my sensitive skin, too! No irritation, breakouts, or added redness. For those of us who wear SPF, this cleanser is perfect for the double cleansing we should be doing. Add this as a step in your nightly routine, before your gel or cream cleanser. Letting it dry as a mask leaves your skin feeling extra clean, refreshed, and baby soft. The mask reminds me of using bentonite clay, without the level of irritation/dryness that can happen from bentonite. You will want to moisturize after using these cleansing grains but my skin has never felt stripped afterwards. The color of the grains is an added bonus/surprise! It’s a beautiful pink that turns vibrant when mixed with a bit of water to make the paste. I will continue to keep this in my stash!

I love this. My skin looks so good and this is gentle enough to cause NO irritation, moisturize my skin, but not overdo it. I love the ingredients and the fact that it is EWG approved. I thought it would be too much work to mix the powder and create the paste every time I want to use it, but I just dump some in the lid and make it in there. I just wash and dry the lid before I put it back on. Not a hassle. I use it twice daily and my skin looks soooo good. I use it as a mask on the parts of my body that I break out other than my face, like my arms and my chest. This improved those areas very quickly as well. 10/10, you should buy this.

Dry cleansing grains

I really like this product. It’s very gentle on the skin and it leaves my skin feeling very soft and clean. At first the dry grains or more like a powder felt strange but when I got the hang of it and how to use it it’s really good. I really like massaging my face with it and it has a very subtle natural smell which I like. I find it just a tad drying if I leave it on for a bit longer as a mask. Overall a good product. I would recommend it.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It can take some trial and error to add the amount of water that gives you the consistency that you like. I love using the grains to exfoliate once a week. If you have some dryness after using as a mask, make sure to follow up with a nice moisturizing cream.

Purple Power

When I feel extra oily or congested this product used like a mask is like opening a window for fresh air. When my skin looks a little dull and feels a little rough a little cleanse with this brings the glow right back. And the color is an amazing surprise.
