Troubleshooting Tips for foaming pumps
- With regular normal use, a foamer bottle should last for about a year before it begins "sticking". To keep foamers from sticking, they must be used regularly so the soap does not dry on the mesh screen and clog the pump.
- The air chamber must also be kept free from liquid. If this happens, remove the pump from the bottle, turn it upside down and try to pump the liquid out of the chamber.
- Check that the small tube that leads to the pump is not pushed too far into the pump, pulling it out slightly. This allows for air to flow to create the foam. You will see a small ball that sits above your tube, make sure this ball has room to move.
- Flush your foaming pump (never soak or submerge your pump) with white vinegar. (Pump white vinegar through the foaming pump.)
- Don’t seal the bottle too tightly – This may affect performance, and you’ll start seeing the actual bottle creating suction. Loosen lid and continue using.
- The life of the pump can be extended by keeping the cap on when not using the bottle and keeping the uncapped bottle out of direct contact with water.

I love this as a daily gentle cleanser. I use it after an oil cleanser at night and on its own in the morning. It doesn't really remove my mascara but besides that it's great!

I love it! I’ve been searching for years, trying all kinds of different natural facial cleansers, & wasn’t liking the results: breakouts, rashes, dry skin. This is the perfect combination of cleansing but not drying. My mature skin is better than it’s been in several years. Scent is pleasant but barely noticeable - only thing that I would love even more, is a little more scent to notice throughout the day. Overall I highly recommend & will continue using. The Green Tea Foaming Facial Cleanser is the option I reach for most often to clean my face after a day in the field, when I'm coated in a few layers of sunscreen, herbal insect repellent, and lots of dirt, pollen, etc. after a day of habitat restoration. Using the foaming cleanser with a face brush leaves me feeling scrubbed clean. (In contrast, I use the gentle facial cleanser in evenings after I've been teaching environmental education to kids, but I've been indoors more of the day, and I'm possibly coated in germs, but not in lots of dirt/debris.) I generally use the carrot and calendula toner after cleaning my face with this, and night cream (or day cream, if it's earlier) after that. I tend to have very sensitive skin, and this cleanser has not caused any skin issues.

I have oily skin all over & this product cleans my face thoroughly & leaves it squeaky clean. At first I was using the cleanser for combination skin but I like this one better for my skin type. The other one is good too just not for my skin. I love this one.

Very nice facial cleanser. I like the my face feels fresh and clean and not oily after using it. . The cleanser seems gentle yet cleans well. Some people in prior reviews have complained about the pump on the bottle. I’m having no problems with the pump; it makes the cleanser come out in a nice little puff and makes the product last longer. I think it’s very reasonably priced. I’m glad to have found this company and am looking forward to trying some of their other products.

I bought 2 bottles of the foaming facial cleanser for my teenage boys and they loved it! Only problem was I didn't relay to them the specific instructions for priming the foaming cleanser, so it just stopped pumping about a 1/3 of the way through the product. I will try again and make sure they know about the finickiness of the pump.

Found your brand while looking on EWG's website for a more affordable facial cleanser for my boys. Bald guy from Philly back again and what can I say, when you find a company you like, you stick with them. I use this foam for cleaning my face and head day and night. It really does leave me feeling clean and doesn't leave me feeling overly dry either. Has been helpful after I have shaved my head in dealing with bumps and other shaving issues. Pairs nicely with the day and night combination creams. Again, I definitely recommend!
