Hi Anja Thank you so much for your review! The smell is the organic unrefined shea butter. It does have a strong smell. Conventional shea butter is deodorized and the natural smell removed but with our organic butter, we leave the natural smell. I'm happy it works well for you. Take care!

The bottoms of my feet are scratchy and rough so my pedicurist suggested that I use a thick cream on the bottoms of my feet instead of oil so that it would soften and absorb into the rough skin. The Shea Butter rubs into the calloused skin well and keeps them soft & supple. Soften the butter with warm fingers first so that it spreads easily. Great for scratchy winter feet!

Convenient little tin I've taken with me everywhere. It's very thick and solid in the container but a little dab warmed between my hands melts it real quick, feels so good and comforting on my dry hands.

Please know that Shea Butter melts at 90 degrees so be careful taking it when it's warm or leaving it in a car. If it melts it will leak out of the tin and be quite messy.
I leave this product right on my night stand and look forward to using it on my dry, cracked hands every night before bed. I like the shea butter scent and it absorbs well and relatively quickly into my skin. A little seems to go a long way. I highly recommend this product!

I love having this little shea butter tin on hand because my skin can sometimes dry out during the day. It's so handy to take with me anywhere I go, so I don't have to worry about ever having dry skin! Great for travel. I don't mind the smell (I'm so much more used to natural products now), but certainly it may take a little getting used to. A little really does go a long way!

Ive been looking for a great healthy âgreenâ lip balm for years. Finally found one, this one! Commercial chap stick actually dries your lips and makes you have to put in more and more! This balm lubricantes your lips and keeps them healthy.
Could this be used as a conditioner?
Thanks for your question. The Shea Butter is great for moisturizing lips and cuticles and for taming fly-away hair or on hair ends. It would not make a good hair conditioner on it's own as it would be too heavy and have too much drag. However, hair conditioners that contain a small amount of shea butter would be beneficial.
Why does it contain rosemary extract?
